Heat Ghee:
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 2-3 tablespoons of ghee.
Add Premix: Add one Cup of Pre Mix of Moong Dal Halwa into the hot ghee (Add ghee at least Mix should be absorbed with it) and roast on low heat for 3-4 minutes,
stirring continuously until the Premix is golden and aromatic.
Add Water/Milk:
Add 1.5 to 2 cups of hot water / Milk (milk for a richer taste), and stir well to
avoid lumps.
Cook:
Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides
of the pan.
Garnish and Serve:
Top with extra ghee and garnish with chopped Dry Fruits (optional) – Crushed almonds, pistachios, and cashews can be included in the mix or added during preparation and saffron if desired. Serve hot!
